I had seen My Salty Studio IG page & fell in LOVE with her textured art. When I saw that she teaches it, I was so excited & signed up!! Her tutorials are short & easy to follow. She was so helpful in getting me started on my textured art journey. When I created my first piece I cried tears of joy. Art was one of my fav classes in school & I had abandoned my creative side for so long. I am so grateful that she helped me reconnect with that side of me again.

I had never heard of textured art until I came across My Salty Studio's workshop during workshop week. I knew I wanted to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. I immediately bought her courses right after because I loved it so much. She's a great teacher and really encourages you in the video tutorials to have fun and make it yours. I'm very hard on myself when judging my own work, but with textured art, it's so relaxing and if you don't like it, just smooth it out and try again. About Me
My name is Cassie, I am a Primary Teacher and an Artist here in Australia. I get a lot of my creativity from my mum, she is an amazing water colour artist (like, truly AMAZING). While our mediums don't have a lot in common, we love spending time creating our own artworks alongside each other.
I started posting photos and videos of my painting process on my Instagram and Tiktok account in October/November 2021, and from there my account began to grow!
I started receiving orders and frequent requests for tutorials on how I create my paintings. As a teacher, I would love to be able to help as many people as I can. I want everyone to experience the joy you get from moving away from conventional methods of art, to this messy hands-on experience.
So that leads us to where we are now. I have created these courses so that we can all learn together, and I hope you have so much fun in the process.
